Who is eligible?
"Your Singapore Experience" is open to everyone above the age of 18 who is not a
Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident, and who does not currently reside in Singapore.
How does the Contest work?
- Submit your answer to the question:
Tell us about an aspect of Singapore which you find interesting and would like to
experience.
- You may submit your answer in English via any ONE of the following
formats – text essay, photo essay or video.
- Each Contestant may only submit one answer, and all answers should be original.
- Contestants will have to register themselves before submitting their entry.
- Choose your Singapore Experience!
Submit your entry and you are done.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Your entry should be complete and final at the time of submission. Contestants will
not be allowed to edit or review their entries once submitted.

What are the format rules?
All entries must be accompanied with a title and summary in English and not exceeding
1,400 characters.
Videos: Only original videos made specifically for this contest are eligible
to win prizes. Specifications for uploading of video files are as follows:
- No more than 3 minutes in length
- Maximum 10 MB in file size
- 3GP, WMV, MPG, MPEG or MOV format
- Recommended frame size: 320 x 240
- Audio must be in English, and clear and understandable when volume is at 50%
- Videos must not contain objectionable, unlawful or offensive content
Photo essays: You may submit colour or black and white prints in JPEG format.
They should be at least:
- 1,600 pixels wide for a horizontal image or 1,600 pixels tall for a vertical image
- No larger than 400 KB each
Text essays: Entries must be original, in English, unpublished and unproduced,
not accepted by any other publisher or producer at the time of submission, with
no more than 800 words in the preferred font (Arial) and font size (12 point) with
no indentations, bullet points, kerning and/or leading. Entries must be submitted
in Portable Document Format(PDF). Entries exceeding the word or page limits will
be disqualified and no adaptations are allowed.
